Fees for psychological services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Coverage for psychological services is often provided through private extended health insurance plans, workplace benefits, or employee assistance plans. It is recommended that you consult with your extended health insurance company to determine the specifics of your coverage.

Victims of motor vehicle accidents may qualify for services through their auto insurance company.

Individuals with WSIB claims are also able to have their fees covered.

In cases when you do not have a lot of coverage, you should consider that short-term therapy could be completed in 3 to 5 sessions. You might be able to use your benefits and/or cover the difference yourself. A little therapy is often better than no therapy. One or two sessions can sometimes be instrumental in helping you learn about yourself, your needs, and how to best tackle your problems.

Psychological treatment sessions are 50 minutes long, with the remaining 10 minutes of the hour being set aside for notes, treatment planning, and file maintenance.

$170/hr for psychotherapy

Please contact me to discuss prices for psychological and psychoeducational assessments, as they vary based on the assessment inquiry.

Our fees are set within the guidelines and fee schedule provided by the Ontario Psychological Association.

I ask that clients pay at the end of each session by either cash or cheque, at which point a receipt is issued that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement or use for medical expenses on income tax. I do accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express at an additional cost of 2.65%
